Suppose I need to decide on a major now soon. Computer Science? Electrical Engineering? A combination of both? Drop out? Admit that I really want to study Astronomy but I don't want to be an Astronomer?
Classes won't be as easy to drop and pick up again the next semester (quarter) as has been relatively easy at community college. It would get quite expensive at Stanford :\ and probably would not reflect well. Need to start planning a little smarter instead of overloading my schedule and seeing what falls of.
I wonder if anyone will ever read this. Hope not..sort of.
Scheme is such and ugly and boring language. I'm just not into it like the other nerds in my class. Maybe it's because I know I will NEVER use it EVER when I am working on anything other than homework. There must be a programming language that is both used in industry and is capable of being used as a tool to teach the fundamentals of computer science.
I should stop my whining. Only two more weeks at community college and never again! Maybe when I get sometime I'll expand about my displeasure with the "learning environment" at the junior colleges I have been attending.
